Unlike traditional messaging apps that keep everything forever, Wesphyr messages disappear automatically. This isn't about secrecy—it's about creating a space where communication feels lighter, less permanent, and more in-the-moment.

How It Works

1. Simple Signup

Create an account with just a password. You'll receive a unique 6-digit code—this is your identity on Wesphyr. No email, no phone number, no personal data collection.

2. Add Contacts

Connect with people using their 6-digit codes. Give them nicknames to personalize your contact list. Your contacts are private and only visible to you.

3. Send Pre-Written Messages

Choose from 40+ carefully crafted message templates across 8 categories: Good Morning, Good Night, Soft Affection, Miss You, Mood Check, Playful, Quick Status, and Flirty.

4. Messages Vanish

Every message automatically expires after 5 minutes. No traces, no archives, no pressure to keep up with old conversations.

Why 5 minutes? It's the sweet spot between giving you time to read and absorb a message, while maintaining the ephemeral feel that makes Wesphyr special. Too short (1 minute) feels rushed, too long (10+ minutes) loses the magic of impermanence.

Our Philosophy

Wesphyr is intentionally minimal. We don't have read receipts, typing indicators, or "last seen" timestamps. We don't track your location, analyze your messages, or show you ads. We don't even ask for your email.

This is communication stripped down to its essence: one person thinking about another and taking a moment to reach out. That's it. That's the whole app.

We believe technology should serve human connection, not complicate it. Wesphyr exists to make it easier to tell someone they matter—without all the noise.

Privacy & Data

We take your privacy seriously. Here's what we collect:

• Your 6-digit code (randomly generated)
• Your password (encrypted with bcrypt)
• Your display name (optional)
• Your last active timestamp
• Your contact list (stored privately)

Here's what we DON'T collect:

• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Location data
• Message content (after expiration)
• Analytics or tracking data

Messages are automatically deleted from our servers 5 minutes after being sent. Accounts inactive for 30+ days are automatically deleted with all associated data.
